Greene County residents are invited to a series of open town hall meetings by Grow Greene County about the casino and entertainment facility.

Greene County Development Corporation Board President Norm Fandel says they want to give everyone chance to get as much information as possible so each person is well informed and heard all sides of the issue before the special referendum vote in August.

“And this is not just Jefferson, this is a Greene County project.  So as we move forward, we want to have those county town hall meetings.  What we feel are true facts from Palo Alto County versus Greene County.”

Fandel encourages people on both sides of the topic to come and ask any questions to a panel who will be involved.

The first of the town hall meetings will be Monday, July 8th at the Scranton School beginning at 6pm.  The next scheduled meeting is on the following Wednesday at the Grand Junction Community Center also at 6pm.
