Longtime educator Dave Waskow has resigned as Activities Director for the Greene County schools. Waskow has been a teacher/coach in Jefferson for eight years and prior to that he spent some two decades in Clarksville with a stop in Montezuma prior to that. Earlier this year Waskow had his contract amended to include A.D. duties only with no teaching or coaching, but on Wednesday of this week the school board accepted his resignation as A.D. effective July 31, 2013. The Waskows have sold their house and will be moving to northeast Iowa where they are from and where their children and grandchildren currently reside.
