The ADM Tigers baseball team enjoyed a lot of success this season.

Two big highlights were setting a school record for most wins in a single season and winning an outright conference championship.

First year head coach Jason Book says setting the school record for most wins is a tribute to his players and the coaching staff.  He comments that having a 29-10 record means they’ve enjoyed winning 29 times, which is a lot of success, but he also admits that some of the losses were fun too because of the thrilling ends of those games.

As for achieving an outright championship, coach Book points out that getting a conference championship wasn’t a goal of theirs at the beginning of the season.  But, he says if they receive several wins, then they will put themselves in position to be at the top.

Coach Book states that getting one loss in the Raccoon River Conference is almost unheard of but if last year’s conference champion Dallas Center-Grimes can go undefeated and they were one bad inning away from doing the same thing.

Overall, coach Book gives all the credit of success they had this season to the players and is really looking forward to what the future has in store for this Tigers.
