The Perry Bluejay baseball team placed four members on the 2013 All Raccoon River Conference Team.  Sophomore center fielder Will Whiton was named to the first team, while junior Jeremiah Ellett was named 2nd Team honoree and junior Michael Lansing and sophomore Zach Roberts were honorable mention selections.  Whiton led the conference with a 495 average and led 3A in stolen bases swiping 41 of 42 bases.  Ellett was the most consistent Bluejay pitcher this year winning 6 games and posting an impressive 2.25 ERA.  Lansing led the Bluejays with 2 home runs and 30 RBI’s while Roberts was the mainstay behind the plate starting every game but one while hitting 271 with 9 RBI’s.  Perry lost a first round game to ADM in district play 8-0.
