Jefferson Police BadgeTwo juveniles in Jefferson have admitted to several vehicle burglaries in town.

Police Captain Mark Clouse reports that 14 year-old Kyle Dean Rysavy and 16 year-old Robert Arnold Arms both of Jefferson confessed to five separate vehicle burglaries and one theft of property cases that started on June 12th after a local bank ATM machine caught the juveniles on surveillance video trying to use a stolen bank card which was reported stolen from a vehicle on July 13th.

Captain Clouse says each minor is charged in Juvenile Court with five counts of third degree burglary which is an aggravated misdemeanor, four courts of fifth degree theft which is a simple misdemeanors, two counts of fourth degree theft which is a serious misdemeanors, one count of unauthorized use of a credit card which is an aggravated misdemeanor and one count of simple trespassing.

Police Chief Dave Morlan says there are more vehicle burglary cases that have been reported and if anyone has information about other vehicle burglaries to call the Law Enforcement Center in Jefferson at 386-2136.
