ADMThe ADM Tigers softball saw four players make various all Raccoon River Conference honors from this past season.

Making first team as a utility player is sophomore MacKenzie Sutton.  The power hitter had a .479 batting average which was second in the conference along with five home runs and 20 RBI’s which both led the team.

Head coach Steph Mehmen said she wasn’t surprised that Sutton received first team all conference recognition and comments she couldn’t be more deserving of the honor.

Three other Tigers made some noise for all conference honors with three juniors selected to the honorable mention list.

Jessica Wyant patrolled the outfield all season long for coach Mehmen’s Tigers and ended the season batting .319.  Coach Mehmen commented that she had the green light every time offensively hitting number two in the lineup and was a triple threat with her slapping and bunting skills.

Hannah Tiffany is a converted catcher, playing mostly in the outfield last year and unexpectedly had to go behind home plate this season.  Coach Mehmen is proud of her determination and her ability to make the adjustment to help the team.

Caitlyn Gruening received an honorable mention at first base with the third most hits on the team.  Coach Mehmen said that Gruening probably has the best instincts on the team both offensively and defensively.

ADM finished this season with a 4-26 record.
