In addition to the Perry Community School District election this fall, other area school districts will be electing new decision makers as well.
There are 2 at-large director positions up for grabs in the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn school district and 4 at-large director positions in Waukee along with a Physical Plant and Equipment Property Tax vote. Voters in the Woodward-Granger school district will selecting five district specific directors. All candidates must live in the applicable district but are elected by residents across the entire school district.
ADM and Waukee candidates need 50 petition signatures to get their name on the ballot, along with 36 signatures for those in Woodward-Granger.
The deadline to submit nomination papers is tomorrow and the elections take place Tuesday September 10th.
