The ADM baseball team had its end of the season banquet on Wednesday.

First year head coach Jason Book says all 20 guys on the varsity roster reached a varsity letter this year.  He comments that there are guidelines to follow to receive a varsity letter but that this year, he felt everyone was deserving.

“How much this group overcame during the summer and how they came together, not only as teammates, but as brothers and really worked hard for each other and not so much for themselves.  So we just kind of threw the book out of the window and said, you know what, each one of these guys did something specific everyday to help us become a better team so we’re just going to reward everybody.”

Some of the players receiving their fourth varsity letter were seniors Dylan Nelson and Kyle Herrick.  Juniors Grant Goeden and Logan Essy each received their third letter while Jackson VerWoert is a 2-time varsity lettermen.  Everyone else took home their first varsity letter in baseball.
