2011 Perry graduate and current Iowa State Cyclone Kane Seeley brought three of his teammates down to Perry this summer for a night of work and instruction with the upcoming Perry football class. Seeley was a star linebacker and running back for Perry as he gets ready for his redshirt freshman year in Ames.
“Kane and his fellow Cyclones were great, Head Coach Jason Olenjzack stated, “He had notes, he had a plan, he had a structure and it showed. He is not far removed from the high school scene and some of the guys on my roster played with Kane or wrestled with him during his state championship years. He showed them what it takes to be a Divsion One player. It was really a beneficial night.”

Perry opens the season August 30th at home against Greene County. Seeley and the Cyclones will open Saturday, August 31st at Jack Trice Stadium against UNI. Both games can be heard on KDLS.
