Officials fall sports practices in Iowa begin on Monday, August 12 and fall sports coaches at Greene County High School have released their practice schedules for next week.

Head football coach Dean Lansman said the Rams will practice from 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the high school in Jefferson starting August 12. Helmets may be worn Monday and Tuesday with shoulder pads added for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Saturday, August 17 is the first day all pads and full contact is allowed under new rules from the Iowa High School Athletic Association.

Head volleyball coach Donna Carhill will conduct practices from 9-11 a.m. next week at the middle school gymnasium in Jefferson.

Cross-country coach Kelly Simpson said workouts for girls and boys will start Monday at 7 a.m. at the high school.

The first day of classes in Greene County is Wednesday, August 21.
