As Donna Carhill enters her thirty-third season as head coach of an Iowa high school volleyball team, she told Raccoon Valley Radio she’s implementing some new things into the Greene County Rams’ program. “We’re changing some things this year and trying some new things defensively. We’re looking at some new ways to train, so the first part of the season we’re going to get used to that and see how that works.”

The Rams will have plenty of time to try things, new and old, before playing their first official match. Greene County opens the season on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at CMB before playing the home opener in the middle school gym in Jefferson on Sept. 12 vs. Colfax-Mingo. There are just five home dates this season for Coach Carhill’s Rams.
