A private family burial will be held at a later date for Melvin W. Karber, 94, of Grand Junction.  No other services are planned.

At his request, his body was donated to the University of Iowa, College of Medicine.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred, of Grand Junction; children, Penny Tiffany of Grand Junction, Steve Karber of Jefferson, Kriss Karber of Bettendorf and Greg Karber of Jefferson; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
