Funeral services for Madonna Schmidt, 83, of Jefferson, will be held Saturday at 11 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jefferson. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home after 11 am on Friday. The family will be present at the funeral home to greet friends from 5 pm to 7 pm on Friday. A Vigil will be held on Friday at 7 pm at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimers Association. Survivors include: Daughter, Kathleen Krumrei of Cedar Rapids. Sons, Kenneth Schmidt and Kevin Schmidt both of Jefferson. 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. Brothers, Charles Taylor of Creston, Marcellous Taylor of Jefferson, James Taylor of Jefferson, Wayne Taylor of Jefferson, Eugene Taylor of Perry and Joe Taylor of Jefferson.
