The ADM Tigers start off the season with a second consecutive rivalry game tonight when they take on the Winterset Huskies on the road.

The Tigers look to bounce back with a win after the close loss at home to DC-G last Friday.  To do so, ADM will have to slow down the Huskies wishbone rushing attack led by running back Alex Forgy.  Forgy ran for nearly 200 yards and two touchdowns in Winterset’s opener.  ADM

On the other side of the ball, ADM might be able to exploit a Winterset defense that disappointed in week one against Interstate 35-Truro.  The Huskies allowed over 300 yards on the ground last week, and Winterset head coach Zach Sweeney says his team has highlighted two ADM players on film that can create similar problems.

“Grant Goeden and Tate Jensen… holy cow they can take the ball the distance at any point.  I help out with track and I’ve seen those two run track.  They are elusive and they are play-makers.  If we let them free, they’ll make us pay there’s no doubt about it.”

Sweeney adds that Winterset will not be overlooking ADM despite the Tigers’ opening game loss.  Find out what happens in ADM’s second game of the season, tonight at 7 o’clock, on 107.9 FM, KKRF.
