The Perry football team will open up 3A District 1 play tonight when they host 2-0 Harlan.  The Cyclones have secured two lopsided wins over Denison-Schleswig and Council Bluffs AL.  Perry enters 1-1 and will get set for your typical Harlan team.

“Harlan is Harlan…right,” said Head Coach Jason Olenjzack, “They do everything so fundamentally sound..their defensive backs are always in the right position, the line is fundamentally sound.  They just don’t have many weaknesses.  They won’t be as physical as Boone, but they will be more fundamentally sound.”

Perry and Harlan will kick off at 7:30 tonight on KDLS 1310 AM with pregame show at 6:30.  Kurt Whiton and Cody Eichmeier will have the call.
