ADMADM volleyball’s whirlwind schedule to begin the season has finally come to a close.

The Tigers played in their first head-to-head conference match last Tuesday against Perry, and  handily defeated the Blue Jays three games to zero.  It was the first time all season coach Mary Beth Scott had a fully healthy line up, and she hopes the good health will continue for the rest of the year.

Scott also says it’s good to finally be out of tournament play because now, the real season begins.

“I try to have a little lighter attitude at a tournament because it can be a long day if you get frustrated early.  And so you sometimes have to just kinda let things roll a little bit more at a tournament, but when you get into a conference game and its one match, and you all need to be on board and focused, I get a little more, a little more intense and I expect more out of them.”

The Tigers will look to move their conference record to 2-0 tomorrow night, as they travel to Boone to take on the Boone High Toreadors.
