According to head coach Greg Thompson, the entire Panorama cross country team had its best performance since the state qualifying meet in 2010 last Thursday at the Jefferson-Scranton meet in Greene County.  

The high school boys’ team and the junior high boys’ team each claimed the title in their respective divisions.  Hunter Simmons was the top placing boy for the high school team, finishing 7th in the meet overall.

Both the high school and junior high girls’ teams had good showings as well.  Hannah Appleseth finished 6th overall in the girls’ meet to lead her team to an overall second place finish, just four points out of first.  The junior high girls’ placed third overall in their division, with Bri Hoffman their top finisher.  Hoffman placed 3rd overall.

In all, 35 runners between the junior high and high school teams set personal-best times in last Thursday’s meet.
