Paton-Churdan traveled to Elk Horn on Tuesday for Rolling Valley Conference volleyball vs. Exira/Elk Horn-Kimballton and West Harrison (Mondamin). The Rockets lost to E/EHK 15-25, 19-25, 16-25 in their first match before snapping a six-match losing streak with a 25-22, 25-22, 25-17 victory over WH. Coach Hannah Boehmer’s Rockets are 3-6 overall, 1-2 in the conference, and 12-16 in games.

The Rockets had 12 ace serves vs. WH including seven by junior Kailee Hanlon, who also had 13 kills in the match. Sydney Koch added 11 kills.

P-C is at home in Churdan on Thursday, Sept. 19 vs. Glidden-Ralston at 6 p.m.
