Three people from Greene County were involved in a one-vehicle accident on Sunday.

Boone County Chief Deputy Rick Lampe says at 5:12pm on Sunday, a sheriff’s deputy, a Boone police officer, Ogden First Responders and Boone County EMS responded to a one-vehicle accident at 230th Street and B Avenue in Boone County.

Lampe states that there were four injuries in the accident.  The driver, Aaron Joseph Skalla, age 22 from Scranton and John Ryan Jenkins II, age 23 from Muscatine were taken by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines and have since been released.

The other two victims, Jared Dennhardt, age 24 and Jennifer Brown, age 43 both of Jefferson were taken to Boone County Hospital, one by Mercy Medical’s air ambulance and their current conditions are unknown at this time.

The accident is still under investigation adds Lampe, but Skalla is facing multiple possible traffic charges including a possible OWI.
