dc conservationThe Dallas County Conservation Board is hosting another web watch program this fall, this one is focused on salamanders.

Conservation Museum Curator Pete Malmberg says Salamander Crossing program is expected to take place in the next couple of weeks.  The middle of October, hundreds of tiger salamanders are expected to begin their annual migration.

Then when the time is right conservation staff will update their website and interested participants will be told to meet at the Voas Nature Area.

Participants are asked to dressed for the weather and in appropriate footwear.  A link to the conservation website, can be found at RaccoonValleyRadio.com.

Those who do not have access to a computer or the internet but are interested in participating can call the conservation office at 465-3577 to set up other arrangements.
