Two of Perry’s retirement communities are partnering together but will still offer services at the two different locations.

The Perry Lutheran Home has signed an agreement with the Spring Valley Retirement Community to expand its services to the building on the Dallas County Hospital campus. The partnership is said to strengthen both the community and the organizations involved.

The Spring Valley facility will be leased to the Perry Lutheran Home.  All current residents and staff will become part of the Perry Lutheran Home community, but the facilities and services offered at Spring Valley will remain the same.

Perry Lutheran Home CEO Reverend Max Phillips says the partnership will allow them to expand on their mission of providing greater access to high quality spiritual and physical care for those they serve, along with adding a third memory care unit to their community.

Spring Valley and Dallas County Hospital CEO Matt Willie agrees in saying they are very excited to welcome the Perry Lutheran Home to the campus and the hospital’s connection to the Spring Valley facility will continue to offer residents access to a wide range of medical services right next door.

The lease is set to begin on November 1st.
