A deputy was advised of a sick acting or extremely friendly squirrel that was approaching the kids on the playground at the city park in Churdan. The deputy advised the children not to attempt to pet or chase the squirrel if he returned.

A deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of Locust Street in Scranton for the report of two dogs running at large on Highway 25 just north of the Casey’s General Store. The dogs were subsequently located, captured and transported to the animal shelter in Jefferson.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
