High school students in schools across the county celebrate Homecoming in various ways each year, but the annual tradition is about more than just teenagers and football… it’s about coming together as a community.

Perry Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bob Wilson says he’s looking forward to bringing the enthusiasm back to downtown.

“One of the things that I’m really, really, really, really excited about for Homecoming, they’re going to decorate the windows downtown” says Wilson.  “This is something that we’ve done forever, misscommunication and what not kind of delayed us the last couple of years,

He says it’s a fun way to support the school and the community as whole.

The window painting is also a fundraiser for the Bluejay cheerleaders.  To find out more about how your business can get involved, call the chamber at 465-4601.
