Perry’s Michael Pentico wasn’t sure he wanted to play football a few years ago.  Fortunately for Perry, he reconsidered.  Pentico has started every game this year for Perry at the center position and will look to lead the Bluejays in an upset bid this Friday night against Lewis Central of Council Bluffs.

“Michael is a kid that we talked too a lot about coming out for football. He is naturally a big kid and really smart.  I don’t think a lot of people realize what all goes on in the vacumn  perspective of being a center.  You have to get the snap there every time in the shot gun and then be able to block.  Michael continues to get better and improve and is one of the guys we can really count on, plus he’s a neat kid to be around,” praised Perry Head Coach Jason Olenjzack.

The 1-4 Bluejays will host Lewis Central Friday night for the annual homecoming game.
