ADMADM’s volleyball team continues to dominate conference foes on the hardcourt.

The Tigers swept Winterset on the road last night, three games to zero.  ADM won the first two games decisively, 25-12 and 25-8.  The Huskies made it interesting in the third before the Tigers completed the sweep, winning the final game 25-18.

Torrie Hook, the usual offensive killer for ADM, led the Tigers with 14 digs last night.  Maddi Powers also contributed 12 of her own. Allison Gottschalk set the tone offensively, collecting 12 kills.

The win moves ADM’s record to 16-11 overall on the season, and more importantly, 5-0 in the Raccoon River Conference.  The Tigers have dropped just a single game in their five conference victories so far this season.

ADM has a week plus break before it will take the court again–the Tigers will face rival Dallas Center-Grimes for a rescheduled home conference match next Thursday.  The match was originally supposed to be played on Thursday, September 19th, but it was postponed because of the severe thunderstorm that swept through town that night and caused mass power outages in Adel.
