A deputy was advised of a camper at Squirrel Hollow park that was camping and not paying the nightly camp fees. The deputy checked the campsite and subsequently arrested Russell Lee Gardner of Panora and Alysha Nicole Steece of Jefferson for a violation of a No Contact Order.

A deputy is investigating a harassment complaint between neighbors in the 500 block of N Avenue.

A deputy was advised of an abandoned vehicle in the 1800 block of 277th Street. It was later determined that the vehicle was associated with the arrest of two persons that had occurred earlier in the morning at Squirrel Hollow Park. The vehicle was towed to the impound lot in Jefferson.

A deputy checked the report of an abandoned vehicle at 300th Street and P Avenue. A 24 hour removal tag was attached to the vehicle.

A deputy was dispatched to the 900 block of Jay Street in Churdan for the report of a missing male youth. The youth was soon located and found to be safe at a relative’s residence.

A deputy was advised of a possible animal neglect issue in Dana.

A deputy assisted in convincing a youth in Scranton to return home with his foster mother.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
