William Russell Feeney, age 19 of 3525 SE 3rd St., Des Moines was arrested in the 14000 block of Highway 17 for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Morris Smith of Earlham was traveling in the 32000 block of L Ave., when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $5000.00.
