The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight in regular session.

The Council will hold a public hearing and consider a resolution to approve the contract and the estimate cost for the 2013 Water Main Replacement Project.  Another public hearing will be held to amend the zoning regulations for the Light Industrial District for other structures and will consider the first reading of the change.

The Council will then consider approving a purchase agreement for 507 South Locust Street, the first change order to Sandstone Management increase of $11,358.42 and paying the sixth installment of $46,479.54.

The Council is expected to approve the completion of construction by Sandstone Management to Greene County Development Corporation’s Business Park Number One, extend preliminary plat on GCDC West Business Park and installing two street lights at the 500 block of North Olive Street.

Finally, the Council will consider the first reading to change an ordinance for parking violations within the City of Jefferson.

The meeting begins at 5:30pm tonight in the City Hall Council Chambers.
