ADMDespite two consecutive difficult defeats on the road, the ADM Tigers still have a lot to play for on the gridiron this Friday night.

With their playoff fate yet to be officially determined, head coach Mike Whisner says his players are eager for Friday’s test against the highly ranked Harlan Cyclones, and their not dwelling on previous performances.

“The kids are pretty resilient.  They understand what that (Perry) game was about and they understand what this week’s game is about.  They’ve prepared hard this week and the big thing is they understand what we do well and what we have to improve on.  It’s just amazing how kids bounce back… I mean much better than adults do.  They’re moving on to that next game right away, which is good.  I like that.”

To knock off Harlan, it’s going to take a great performance of mistake-free football from the Tigers on Friday night.  But expect it to be close, as Whisner says for whatever reason, the Cyclones always bring out the best in his teams.

“We enjoy playing them… we’ve had some pretty good games against them in the last several years, here and at their place.  So we’ll be prepared.  The big thing is they take care of it out on the field–don’t play tight, have fun and play… play your best.”

Pregame coverage of Tigers vs. Cyclones will begin at 7 o’clock Friday on 107.9FM, KKRF, and kick-off will follow at 7:30.
