The Panora City Council meets tonight in a rescheduled session.  The Council could not meet in quorom for its originally scheduled meeting on Monday.

A quorom is the minimum number of members that have to be present for the Council to conduct its usual business.

The meeting will begin with an update on Panora area business from Midwest Partnership Executive Director Chad Schreck.

The Council will then discuss and possibly take action on numerous items related to Panora’s Storm Water Improvement Project.

Next, the Council will set a public hearing date regarding a proposed Housing Set Aside grant application through the Iowa Economic Development Authority.

The final item on the agenda calls for the Council to implement a new electric utility code in town.

Tonight’s meeting will begin at 5:30 in City Hall.
