Six Panorama turnovers resulted in 30 Mt Ayr points Wednesday night as the Raiders defeated Panorama 30-7 in a Class 1A First Round Football clash.  Gabe Richey’s 91 yard punt return midway through the first quarter tied the game up at 7 but Mt Ayr’s defense responded with a safety and ended the game with a 23-0 run.  The Raider defense was the story of the night, sacking Gavin Richey six times and forcing 6 Panther turnovers.  Mount Ayr put together four scoring drives on the night that covered a grand total of 91 yards.  Senior quarterback Jacob Suhbotka used the short field all night rushing for two scores and throwing for another.  He finished with 118 yards on the ground and was 3-13 through the air.  Panorama’s high powered offense was bottled up to a total of 81 yards.  Panorama closes out the season 7-3 while Mt Ayr improves to 8-2 and will have a rematch with Van Meter Monday night.
