Heart of Iowa Activities Conference champion Nevada led the way with three first team selections on the league’s all-conference volleyball first team. The selections by the league’s coaches are now released since Nevada’s season is over. The Cubs lost in the quarterfinals of the Class 3A State tournament on Wednesday and the conference champions were the last of the 10 teams in the HOIAC to still be playing. North Polk (Alleman) and Roland-Story (Story City) each had two players on the first unit while Gilbert and South Hamilton (Jewell) each had one.

Greene County had no players on the first all-conference team, but juniors Emma Saddoris and Mollie Sorber were both named to the second team. Senior Chelsi Wilkens and junior Marissa Promes both received honorable mention all-conference honors. The Rams were 5-4 in conference play at 15-17 overall.
