Both Paton-Churdan basketball teams improved to 3-0 on the season with victories in Churdan on Tuesday night over Exira/Elk Horn-Kimballton in Rolling Valley Conference play. The P-C girls upset the Class 1A number 7 Spartans, 58-49. The P-C boys were 48-32 winners. This marks the first time in well over a decade both P-C teams have three wins in three games to start a season.
