Picture 001The Perry basketball teams will play host to the Norwalk Warriors tonight in a non conference girl/boy doubleheader at the Perry Sports Pavillion.  The Bluejays have dropped three in a row and will have to get back on track without their top scorer.  Sophomore Shammond Ivory will not play tonight because of a sprained ankle sustained in Friday night’s loss to Ballard.  Ivory was averaging 13 points per game.  Zach Roberts is anticipated to move into the starting lineup.  The Bluejays are shooting only 34% from the floor and 19% from 3-point land.

The Jayettes will look to make it 2 wins in a row when they host 3-4 Norwalk.  Perry rebounded Saturday from their first loss of the season the night before to Ballard by knocking off Greene County on the road.  The Jayettes have been led by Maggie Lowe and Claire Marburger.  Lowe has been deadly from the outside connecting on 42 % of her 3-point shots.  Tip off at the Pavillion is slated for 6:00 and can be heard with Shawn Kenney on AM 1310 KDLS and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com
