The freezing drizzle advisory for this part of the state prompted school officials to postpone the Greene County wrestling team’s home double-dual meet with CMB (Baxter) and Saydel (Des Moines). The new date is Monday, Jan. 13 in Jefferson at the middle school gym starting at 6 p.m.

The wrestling team practiced Thursday night in the middle school gym in front of fans who attended the fundraising chili supper, which went on as scheduled.

Coach Mark Sawhill’s Rams will end the December portion of the schedule tomorrow (Sat.) at Carroll High for the Tiger-Knight Invitational beginning at 10 a.m. Carroll High and Kuemper Catholic co-host the annual event and alternate sites. The Tiger-Knight will be the first invitational style tournament this season for Greene County.
