The ADM wrestling team competed in the Gary Christensen Invite in Winterset on Saturday, and a few Tigers stuck out with notable performances.

At 152 pounds, Zach Johnston continued his remarkable season for the Tigers by winning the invitational in his weight class.  Johnston defeated Cody Kingery of Underwood in the final match 2-1.  With his four wins in the tournament, Johnston is now 23-4 on the season.

Trevor Harsh got all the way to the final at 132 pounds for the Tigers before falling to Brock Jennings of Osage in a 6-3 decision.  Harsh is now 20-8 on the season for ADM.

As he has been much of the season, heavyweight Nathan Heath was another top contributor for ADM on Saturday.  Heath finished third in the tournament, going 3-1 in his matches.  The sophomore is now 21-7 this season.

Overall, ADM finished fifth out of 16 competing teams in Saturday’s tournament, tallying 135 points.  Osage ended up winning the Gary Christensen Invite with 220 total points.
