Third ranked Perry defeated previous number 2 Bondurant Farrar Tuesday night 64-53 in Raccoon River Conference action. The win keeps Perry in a share of first place with both Carlisle and Ballard. The Jayettes never trailed on the night leading by nine at halftime and fighting off a couple of Bondruant second half runs. Claire Marburger led the Jayettes with 26 points, Julie Diw 14, Maggie Lowe 12 and Amy Markres 10. Diw hit three 3-pointers to lead the Jayette perimeter attack. Perry improves to 11-1 and 5-1 in the RRC while Bondurant Farrar falls to 9-3 and 4-3. Perry will travel to Boone Friday night.
