The Perry boys basketball team defeated Bondurant Farrar last night 71-60 in Raccoon River Conference action. Perry used a decisive 23-12 run in the third quarter to turn the table on the visiting Bluejays. Perry hit a season high ten 3-point baskets including six in the third quarter alone. Ryan Rathje hit a pair of trifectas in the third quarter to spark Perry while the backcourt combination of Shammond Ivory and Will Whiton penetrated all night to a tune of 25 points apeice. Whiton finished 10 of 13 from the foul line and connected on three 3-pointers. Cavan Finn added 9 points. Perry will look to make it 5 straight wins Friday night when they travel to Boone for a 6:00 doubleheader on KDLS. Perry is now 5-6 and 3-3, while Bondurant Farrar falls to 5-4, 2-3.
