The Adel DeSoto Minburn school district is hosting its second of three public meeting in regards to next month’s proposed bond issue tonight.

It takes place at the DeSoto Intermediate School at 7pm and all community members are encouraged to attend.

Superintendent Greg Dufoe says even though the proposed $13.5 million bond issue won’t affect property tax levies, the school board and community based committee wanted the public to be able to voice their opinions.

The final public meeting takes place January 27^th at Minburn Elementary.

The special election is Tuesday, February 4^th and absentee ballots are now available from the Dallas County Auditor’s office.
