Rebecca Wolf was recently named the new Public Health Director at Greene County Medical Center.

Community Relations Director Carla Offenburger says Wolf will oversee public health services including immunizations, maternal health, blood pressure checks, community health needs assessments and the equipment loan closet.  Wolf is also responsible for home care services.

Offenburger states that the public health department will begin to transition into a temporary location before the building expansion projects begins later this spring.  The department will be relocated to office trailers on the south side of the medical center during the time of construction.

The medical center has also worked closely with Unity Point Health for their home care services with Unity Point at Home for the past six months temporarily and is looking to make it a more permanent basis.  The home care services will not be affected by the public health department’s relocation.
