All three Greene County High School varsity winter sports teams are in action tonight. The wrestlers are in make-up action in the middle school gym in Jefferson vs. Nevada at 6:30 p.m. Originally, the Rams and Woodward-Granger were to have gone to Nevada on Jan. 16, but weather forced postponement. Now, the make-up meet has been switched to Jefferson and it’s a single dual only with the Cubs visiting the Rams.

The Greene County basketball teams are in action in Colfax tonight on KG98 vs. Colfax-Mingo. Coverage begins at 5:45 p.m. with the girls’ game at 6 p.m. and the boys to follow. The Greene County girls will be trying to snap a five-game losing streak within the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference. The Greene County boys will try to win consecutive games after upsetting previously undefeated PCM (Monroe) in Jefferson on Jan. 17. Both C-M teams are winless on the season.
