Funeral services for Leon Cooper, 87, of Greenfield formerly of Fontanelle, will be held Tuesday at 10 am at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle. Burial in the Canby Cemetery near Fontanelle with full military graveside rites. A luncheon will be held at the church following the burial. Visitation will be Monday from 5 pm to 8 pm with the family present at the Steen Funeral Home in Fontanelle. Online condolences may be left at steenfunerals.com. Memorials to the Leon Cooper Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date. Survivors include: Wife, Sylvia Cooper of Greenfield. Children, Becky Ingram of Arizona, Ralph Cooper of Adair, Ivan Cooper of Missouri and Bonnie Readinger of Guthrie Center. 13 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
