ADMThe ADM basketball teams split with the Carroll Tigers in their varsity doubleheader last night, with the girls’ win and boys’ loss each being of the blowout variety.

To start out the night, the ADM girls cruised to an easy 71-16 win over still winless Carroll.

Though head coach Brett Watson wasn’t thrilled with his team’s effort in the first half, the Tigers did hold a 32-11 lead at intermission.  It was then all ADM in the second 16 minutes of play, as the Tigers’ rode three double-figure scorers on the night.  Kenzi Sutton paced ADM with 16 points in the contest, Sydney Bertman had 15 and Brianna Mueller finished with 14.

With the win, the ADM girls move to 7-9 overall on the season.

Unfortunately for Tiger fans, the Carroll boys reversed the result of game one and thumped the ADM boys by a final score of 73-29 in game two.

Carroll used a 31-4 second quarter to blow the game open against ADM and they wouldn’t look back.

Logan Essy and Robbie Sloss each scored seven points to lead your Tigers in scoring.

The ADM boys fell to 4-11 overall with the loss.

The Tiger boys and girls will be back on the hardwood Friday for a varsity doubleheader at Ballard.
