The final dual meets of the 2013-14 regular season for the Greene County Rams are scheduled for tonight in the middle school gym in Jefferson. Coach Mark Sawhill’s team hosts PCM (Monroe) and Colfax-Mingo with PCM the first opponent at 6 p.m. The Rams edged the Mustangs by 1.5 points on Saturday in Jewell for the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference tournament title.

Greene County is 9-10 in dual meets and 4-3 in conference duals. Tonight is also senior night with seniors being introduced. Seniors Jacob Challen (120), Dylan Forkner (126), Jeremy Scheuermann (152) and Rene’ Guzman (285) are the seniors expected to be in the Greene County lineup tonight. Guzman is in only his second year wrestling while the other three are seasoned veterans. Shcuermann surpassed the 100 victory mark in his career early this season. Challen could reach 100 tonight and Forkner is likely to hit 100 wins in the near future.

KG98 will be broadcast both dual meets involving the Rams beginning at 6 p.m. Doug Rieder and Andy Krieger will be providing the call.
