The 4th ranked Perry Jayette basketball team defeated Carroll Friday night 67-35 in RRC action.  The Jayettes opened up a 28-4 lead after the first quarter and cruised to the continuous clock victory.  Claire Marburger led the Jayettes with 21 points in limited action.   Victoria Hegstrom and Grace Marburger each added 8 points.  Maggie Lowe chipped in 7.  Perry improves to 15-2 and 8-2 in RRC play.  Carroll falls to 0-15.  The Jayettes will return to action today for a 2:00 JV/V non conference matchup with  Des Moines Hoover.

The Carroll boys raced out to an 11-0 lead and never looked back as the Tigers defeated  Perry 78-57.  6-3 power forward Cody Netusil proved to be too much for Perry to handle as he scored 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds.  Shammond Ivory led Perry with 25 points and Cavan Finn added 12 points.  Finn has connected for seven 3-pointers in his last two games.   Perry cut it down to seven points on two different occasions in the second half.
