Funeral services for Jim Van Meter, 64, of Lake City will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City with burial in the Lake City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City.

Jimmy is survived by his sons James Van Meter of Auburn and Joey of Lake City; 5 grandchildren; brothers Lee Van Meter of Lake City and Donald Van Meter of Morrilton, AR; sisters Janice Smith of Glidden, Cindy Miller of Lake City, and Fae Presley of Lytton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Jamie, and sister Sherri Van Meter.
