Funeral services for John Redfern, 79, of Jefferson, will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Central Christian Church in Jefferson.  Cremation will follow the service. Interment at Jefferson Cemetery will take place at a later date.  Visitation with the family is from 4:00 – 6:00pm Tuesday at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson.  Memorials may be given in John’s name to the family.

Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Redfern of Cedar Rapids, IA; brothers: David Redfern of Jefferson and Tom Redfern of Guthrie Center; sister, Mary Lou Roth of Panora; sister-in-law Linda Redfern of Osceola; and many nephews and nieces.
