Funeral services for Francis Venteicher, 67, of Jefferson,  will be 10:30 am Friday, March 7, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jefferson.  Burial will take place at a later date at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Jefferson, Iowa.  Visitation will be after 2:00 pm Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson with the family present to greet friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Memorials are suggested to the family and may be left at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home. Francis is survived by his wife Marilyn of Jefferson, IA; his sons:  Eugene (Kristin) Venteicher of Dale City, Virginia, and Terry (Cathy) Venteicher of Des Moines, Iowa; his daughters:  Kay (Tom Burrell) Venteicher-Shulman of Woodbridge, Virginia, and Shelly (Sean) Reed of Jefferson, Iowa; step-children:  Laura (Rob) Wind Norton of Merrill, Wisconsin, Lisa Wind of Des Moines, Iowa, and Brian Wind of La Crosse, Wisconsin; sister-in-law Glenda Venteicher of Bagley, IA; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
