Funeral services for Betty Tingwald, age 72 of Woodward will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014, at 10 am at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Perry. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13th from 1 to 8 pm with family present from 5 to 8 pm at the Carris Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Peoples Cemetery in rural Woodward.

Memorial contributions will be given to the family and may be left at the Carris Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Duane Tingwald, Woodward; a daughter, Tami (Chris) Strait, Granger; granddaughter, Leah (Adam) Ray, Des Moines; 2 sisters, Dee Martinson, Altoona and Bev Prichard, Polk City; a brother, Delbert Gander, Newton and numerous nieces and nephews.
