There is one last opportunity for Greene County residents to receive help to sign up for the new Affordable Care Act before the deadline on March 31st.

The Visiting Nurse Services of Iowa will be at the Jefferson Public Library one final time on Friday, March 28th.  They will have licensed navigators on hand to help those needing medical insurance coverage for the year and help registering before the March 31st deadline.

Pre-registration is highly encouraged to receive a guaranteed appointment with VNS when they are at the library from 1-5:30pm.

Each session will be about an hour but it can go faster is you know the Social Security numbers and birth dates of those needing health insurance coverage.
